Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as assisting seniors in nursing facilities, to preparing the church bulletins.

New Chance Church is not a place for spectators. It is a fellowship for worshippers, disciples learning to become fishers of men for Christ. Whether you are a five-year old child, a senior citizen, a busy mom, or a businessperson with big responsibilities, single or married, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church fellowship. Come and worship, learn, serve, and grow with us at New Chance Church!

New Chance Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in aiding and supporting missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We support mission work in the United States, Kenya, Africa and other parts of the world. Each year, we help finance a small team from an associate church to travels to Kenya carry supplies assist the schools, orphanages and associated pastoral ministries in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage all our members to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means working at the food pantry, ministering in our own community sharing with financial support.

Music has been used in religious worship for thousands of years. It can evoke powerful emotions, create a sense of community and help connect worshippers to the divine. Different faiths have their own styles of music and instruments, but all recognize the importance of music in spiritual practice.   

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. We encourage members who play musical instruments or would like to learn to play in the church setting to join in praise and worship.  Vocalists are welcome to become part of the Praise and Worship team or become involved in the choir. Still others can get involved in drama. We have a Drum Circle that plays on third Sunday and invite interested members to join, bring your on drums other percussion instrument or play one of the churches as we praise God with drums, tambourines and cymbals. All members and volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed safely and problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men, women, boys and girls whose ministry is integral to church life.

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believer’s dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers prays for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and mission prayer needs. Each Wednesday, the membership of the church is committed to reserving a special time for prayer and Bible study wherever they are.

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Excerpts from our weekly services and sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We plan to also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.
